The demonstration in the Northern Region by the NDC against EC’s plans to do new register was nearly marred as Joshua Akamba and Sammy Gyamfi was in near blows over GHc 300k Demo cash.
Some national officers are currently in a meeting at the Residence of the Northern Regional NDC Chairman to resolve the empass. The NDC National Organiser, Capt. Akamba is accusing the party Communications officer, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi of embezzling the money which was meant to finance activities for the demonstration against the Electoral Commission.
Information gathered indicates that the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama made the donation to the organizers of the demonstration through Mr. Sammy Gyamfi which he never disclosed.
Sources have alleged that drama unfolded at the Mordern City Hotel this afternoon when the National Executive Committee (NEC) met to deliberate on the outcome of the demonstration.
