The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, commissioned a new police station on the 6th of May, 2022 at Shukura, in the Ablekuma Central Constituency.
The ultra-modern facility was facilitated by the Director of Operations at the presidency, Hon. Lord Oblitey Commey. The facility is purposed at serving the people of Shukura, New Russia, Zabramaline, Mabrouk, Soko, Banana Inn, Lartebiokorshie, Town Council Line, Flamingo, Sabozongo, parts of Abossey Okai and parts of Mateheko.
Touching on the relevance of the facility, the Vice President said “I underscored the invaluable place of security as an indispensable tool for sustainable growth and development of any community, hence Government’s ongoing efforts to provide the necessary logistics and equipment to the security agencies.”
