Salifu Maase alias Mugabe, the late afternoon political talk show host of Accra-based Radio XYZ has rendered a conditional apology to the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah.
The vociferous and loudmouth journalist during one of his shows referred to the man of God as a bleached pastor who looks like a pig following a prophecy that former President John Dramani Mahama plans killing the current president, his Vice and he Owusu Bempah.
Mugabe who claims to be an apologist of the former president, has vowed to go at all lengths and protect him against the likes of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah he accused of engaging in politics and not the work of God.
Mugabe went on to accuse the man of God of being unfaithful for which reason he cannot stay with one woman — therefore — doesn’t have any moral right to criticize the former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama.
But while speaking to Kofi TV last week, he was asked to apologise for the offensive comments which he did conditionally saying “If I say you have bleached and you have not why will that worry you? If I have accused you of bleaching and you have not, I am sorry. If you have bleached and you are pretending you it is unto you “
The presenter last week also predicted some “people will flee Ghana making a direct reference to Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah.
“We all live in this country; some people will flee. Owusu Bempah and others will run away with their sandals from this country. I am daring you this afternoon; if you are a man come out!”
