Prof. Kwesi Botchwey has turned down an offer to be selected as running mate to the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama.
The cause of the decline is not officially known but sources close to Prof. Botchwey are alluding to ill health as the reason.
The incident has forced Candidate John Mahama to offer the position to Patrick Awuah of Ashesi University insiders reveal.
With 9 months into 2020 general election, the running mate to John Mahama has become the talk of the town.
