Justice Issifu Omoro Tanko Amadu has become the first Muslim to be nominated as a Supreme Court judge in Ghana.
He is part of three legal brains President Akufo-Addo hasnnominated to the apex court of the land.
The other two are; a top Ghanaian Lawyer, Yoni Kulendi, and another appeal court judge, Justice Clemence J. Honyenuga.
Their nomination is subject to parliamentary approval as they replace three justices who are on retirement or are due for retirement this year.
The trio will replace Justices Julius Ansah, Nasiru Sulemana Gbadegbe and Anthony Alfred Bennin at the Supreme Court.
