Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak may have resurrected a hungry wolf in his constituency following his turf war with the constituency Chairman after he was purported to have in a Facebook comment described him as ignorant.
This exacerbated a seeming tension between him and constituency executives which is believed to be unresolved issues that characterized the election of constituency officers earlier this year.
MyNewsGh.com on Sunday October 28, 2018 reported of how the former Reggae Presenter on GBC radio, accused Abubakari Issahaka his Constituency of diverting part of the GH¢5000 he was given to arrange about 500 branch executives to meet with former President John Dramani Mahama who visited the area weeks ago.
In what could pass for a show of power, the Chairman on Tamale-based North Star Radio has hit back asking him to kowtow to his whims and caprices or he may be forced to whip him online because he has grown wings and become overly greedy
“He resourced them against us… how can we then work with such a person. He has also vowed not to consult us in anything he does. He now deals with only secretary”, he added.
Sounding angry on phone and using swear words, Abubakari Issahaka warned the MP against imposing himself on the area because he came to meet them and has little or no knowledge about how the constituency was run since 1992 prior to his arrival.
“I swear by Allah that there are divisions in the party in the constituency. When there is a funeral or wedding, the MP has his delegation that represents him and the party also has its own representatives. How can we be working in such a manner? You came and met me here as the constituency Chairman, I have not said anywhere I cannot work with you, I took you round and campaigned for you to become an MP and you have suddenly grown wings and want to ruffle feathers with me. He wants to impose himself on us but we are not going to allow that to happen that is why he is claiming we are indiscipline”, he stated.
