Mannesah Awuni commends President Akufo-Addo for his swift response in PPA documentary

Investigative journalist, Mannesah Awuni have commended the president for his swift response to his latest documentary on PPA.

The president earlier this afternoon suspended the Chief Executive Officer for the Public Procurement Authority(PPA), Mr AB Adjei with immediate effect. The allegations leveled against Mr Adjei was also referred to the Comminsion on Human Rights and Administrative Justice(CHRAJ) and those relating to potential acts of corruption were also referred to the Office of the Special Prosecutor for investigation and possible prosecution.

Mannesah Azure took to his facebook page to eulogize the president and states that the President has done what is expected of him and the matter now rest in the bosom of CHRAJ and the Office of the Special Prosecutor.

He wrote on his facebook page:

“The swift response by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to #ContractsForSale is very commendable. The suspension and referral of the case to CHRAJ and the OSP are very appropriate. Let’s hope the state investigative bodies give the characters in the documentary a fair hearing. They should be exonerated if they should. And they should be punished if they should. I have done my part. The President has done his part. Whittal and Amidu, the ball is in your courts. Together we can work to ensure that those entrusted with the power and authority of the state exercise them in the best and collective interest of us all. God bless our Homeland Ghana… #Donkomi”
