Some Members of Parliament (MP) sold their properties including their houses to invest in gold dealership firm, Menzgold, Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong has revealed.
According to the maverick politician, the MPs some of which are in Parliament now fell for the scam and started investing heavily in the gold dealership firm after NAM 1 sent beautiful ladies to Parliament to explain the concept to them.
How can MPs sell your properties including your houses to invest in Menzgold and now accuse Akufo-Addo…were they accusing Akufo-Addo when they were taking their fat interests…?, he asked on Adom TV’s Badwam on Tuesday.
According to Ken Agyapong, some MPS invested their car loans into Menzgold with the aim of getting more interests.
These MPs, who he claimed, are from both sides of the house contracted a Lawyer who sought to intercede on their part so NAM 1 pays them their monies.
“I said no because they can’t treat them differently, if they want to pay everyone, it’s fine but no just MPs…I threatened to blow the alarm and they stopped…,” he said.
NAM 1 was declared wanted by INTERPOL for charges of defrauding under false pretenses.
